Losing text formatting while editing posts

Hi guys

Found maybe another issue. If i want to edit a posting I have to edit the text formatting of the post again, because it got lost.

That means, just one big text block is shown in the editor field, no paragraphs. After sending the edited post its the same (if I dont re-edit the paragraphs, etc.). Text colours and bbcodes are not included, they work perfectly.

When I am using the standard templates from kunena, it works so I think it's a template problem..

Hi Guys and sorry for the late answer - I had to go into quarantine for a few days and was needed to be tested - you now. Unfortunately, I can't work the last days, which means i could not do something for the webpage.

But - test was negative, good to know. Hope you guys also doing well.


And now here are the good news incoming:


I found the issue, or the reason for it, while preparing to setup a website clone today, after i came back.

It was just the simple "Strip Whitespace" option in the Joomla FLEX Template. In this case, you can find this option in the "Advanced" Tab in the style settings of the FLEX Template. With this option turned on, the issue happens like described. Turn it off, and all works like it should do.



Actually I don't need this option turned on, I tested it and found no issues while Option=OFF, so I'm fine i think.

But, maybe it's important for you to know?
