Hi,
When members create a new message, we don't have notification. (Color of the icon or "1 new(s)" ) Nothing appears.

Is it normal with this template ?

I have just checked your case with NTS KSamurai template on my local (You can see the new badge on the attach image). It's working fine. Can you provide me your site url? I'll try to debug and help you solve this issue.
