Problem with KSamurai after moving host
4 years 6 months ago
Hi, I have a kunena forum which broke after moving host (moved from uk2.net to rochen) the error is:
load error: failed to find /home/ *OLD HOST DIRECTORY HERE* /components/com_kunena/template/nts_ksamurai/assets/less/nts_ksamurai.less
If I switch template the forum comes back no problem but I want too use KSamurai, I thought perhaps reinstalling the template would fix the problem. I found that my download had expired (purchased years ago) so I just bought it again. I tried installing over the top of the old template to update it but I get the same error. I have now uninstalled the template and reinstalled it, same error. It's obviously looking for a file on my host for some reason (which no longer exists). I can't see any way to make it look for this file on the new host. Some help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
Please delete the cache file in the "[root]/cache/kunena/" path. Let us know if it does not work after delete the cache file.

Thank you for your response, deleting the cache file did allow me to view the main forum index without the error. BUT clicking on a category is now giving me this error:
0
Method renderError() is not defined
I get the same error by clicking on any topic and also user profile from the forum index.

Hi,
Thank you very much about your information. Are you using the old version of the Kunena component (5.1.12.1). Our template working fine on the Kunena latest version (5.2.3), so I think you should update the latest version for your forum before switch to use the NTS KSamurai template.
Best regards,
