Image Attachments

I would like images in the attachments list to show in lightbox or as modal , Kunena option of enable lightbox seems to have no effect.
How do I achieve this?

Just noticed it thinks the Image attachment is a Docx file which is why it wants to download instead of view it, But why has its extension changed?

If I switch to Crypsis as the Kunena template it works as expected

Is there any progress on this?

I tried to switch to all default kunena templates and attach the .docx file, no neither template work with .docx file format. I think you should compress your document file to the .zip file before attach to post.
