Category Background image?

I want to add a background image to each category for my KPop forum.

I tried the same trick used for other templates, but didn't work.

This is what I tried.

STEP 1From your back-end, go to Components → Kunena Forum → Category Manager menu. Remember the category id of the category you want to add background image.
STEP 2Create a image with image name is "category id number" (example: 3.png, 4.png,...).
STEP 3Copy that image to [Root]/media/kunena/category_images/" folder.
STEP 4Back to front-end and refresh your site.

For KPop, is there any other way to add background image?

Is there any "recommended size" for PNG files?

Please let me know about your idea. Do you want to add the icon image for category or add the background image for category?

It might be called "Header Image".
The top image on Page Cover section.

I think, you want to add the forum header. We have just exported new package to support the forum header image. Follow some below steps to add the forum header for your website.

- Step 1: Download the new NTS KPop package and update to your website.
- Step 2: From your back-end create new custom module, add the image to the custom module.
- Step 3: Assign the custom module to the forum_header position. Save and reload your forum.

Suggestion: Image dimension about width: 1110px and height: 150px or higher.

The position "forum_header" didn't appear automatically, so I typed it in the position field and it worked without any problem.

I want to change the header image according to the category contents to add fun atmosphere to the forum.
