Sub-categories

So I have literally redone my categories to realize that the index page non-longer displays sub-categories/child boards. Is there a possible way of adding them? Maybe in the future adding a on/off button in the template admin to turn on/off "sub-categories on index"?

I thought about your idea. But if we show the sub-categories in each box, we can't control the height of box. We tried to show the sub-categories and make equal height but not nice and broken design.

We are trying to find a solution to display all sub-categories.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing after I posted this. But now it makes me wonder if we could possibly highlight the box or add/change an icon if sub-categories are present? Such as the current default icon (folder) has a colored "S" added to the folder image to signify "Sub-Categories.
